Esta inspirada en una canción de la película Maniac que era de terror, y para Flashdance se modificó la letra.
El estribillo de la original era este:

Hoy me he despertado con esta canción en mi cabeza. Recuerdo cuando vi Flashdance por primera vez, tendría unos trece o catorce años. Me gustó mucho, quería bailar igual de bien que lo hacía ella.
No sé porque me ha venido esta canción a mi cabeza, pero yo también me siento un poco “maníaca” por el baile, pero sobre todo por la gimnasia rítmica. Ayer fui a mi primera clase de intensivo de gimnasia rítmica junto con mi hija. ¡Madre mía, como disfruté! A mis 40 años me sentía como una chiquilla de 8. Intenté hacer todos los ejercicios, aunque lo cierto es que no pude con todos. Pero bueno, me queda un mes por delante, y aunque sé que no lograré hacerlos todos, seguro que mejoraré y lo que tengo claro es que disfrutaré mucho ritmiqueando.
